17th September, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia – In an exclusive Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signed at the EV Auto Show Riyadh, Al-Futtaim Electric Mobility Company (AFEMC), the official distributor of BYD electric vehicles in Saudi Arabia, has officially named Turning Point Renewable Energy (TPRE) as the home charging installation partner for BYD customers. This strategic collaboration promises to enhance the EV ownership experience while aligning with the Kingdom’s Vision 2030 for electric vehicle adoption and cleaner energy solutions.
As part of this partnership, TPRE will handle the complete EV home charging solution for Al-Futtaim Electric Mobility and BYD vehicles – from expert installation to managing the intricate process for securing the Saudi Electricity Company (SEC) permits on behalf of customers. This ensures that BYD customers will enjoy a smooth and seamless home charging setup, with TPRE experts managing the full charging journey.
Flexible Charging Solutions Tailored to Customer Needs
In addition to BYD’s standard home chargers, customers can opt for the Charge2Moov by Al-Futtaim charger, supplied and installed exclusively by TPRE in Saudi Arabia. The Charge2Moov home charger offers the same robust 22 kW AC charging capacity. With a two-year warranty and available for an additional cost, this charger offers customers the added value and flexibility to choose the charging solution that best fits their needs.
